Fattail scorpion or fat-tailed scorpion is the common name given to scorpions of the genus Androctonus, one of the most dangerous groups of scorpion species in the world.[1] The genus was first described in 1828 by Christian Gottfried Ehrenberg.[2]
Does the perfect pin location exist? When you have to displace a chainsmoking Fatttail Scorpion one begins to question putting down roots in ancient soil. When we cleared some dead palms, and began to dig the hole on a humid August morning at 7am, this little prehistoric beastie surfaced in a shovel full of Saudi soil.
Scorpion Hole is still one of the most challenging Par 5 on Dhahran Sand & Oil.
